A Senior Director, Product Management develops the direction and strategy of a large product or multiple products within the business unit, influencing executive decision-making, scaling product operations and fostering high performing leadership of senior management.
 
In this role, you will: 

Functional Responsibilities

  • Applies expert industry acumen to differentiate products from the competition.
  • Develops overall PM strategy, direction and roadmaps, and ensure alignment and adherence across all product teams.
  • Sets pricing and licensing strategies to drive market success and revenue growth.
  • Proactively identifies product challenges and uses performance data to refine focus areas.
  • Set clear lifecycle policies for existing products.
  • Participates in solving business challenges by partnering with cross-functional leaders (Engineering, Marketing, Sales, Support)
  • Can lead cross-functional or organizational projects, ensuring alignment with overall company strategy.
  • Partner with Sales on deals, pricing, and non-standard contracts to drive wins. 
  • Uses expertise on business insight to negotiate and influences leaders internally and externally, including with the executive team, key customer leadership and other main stakeholders.
  • Serves as a thought leader; Communicates the product portfolio lifecycle and company strategy to their sub-function and addresses any questions independently.
 People Management Responsibilities
  • Responsible for strategic management across multiple divisions and for the leadership of a team of senior managers and directors. Is accountable for the performance and results of managed divisions. Develops and executes PM strategy to achieve organization/function objectives. Decisions are guided by company strategy and objectives. Responsible for workforce planning including assessing current and future needs and making needed changes. Responsible for the talent planning for overseen divisions including succession, talent development and talent management.
  • Understands business, financial and people data and uses it to make decisions. Understands business, legal and people implications of decisions. Works with leadership as needed on more complex situations. Knows when to partner with functional experts such as HR, finance and legal.
  • Leads by example, acting with integrity. Builds trust and respects, communicates clearly and demonstrates adaptability. Builds a culture of accountability, impact and continuous growth. This includes showing authenticity, being adaptable, communicating clearly, developing relationships, advancing accountability and growing as a leader.
  • Builds high performing teams. Inspires others towards a united vision. Maximizes teamwork, engagement, performance and talent development. This includes hiring & onboarding, developing and recognizing, managing performance, driving engagement & teamwork.

This includes understanding the business, thinking strategically, managing team operations, making decisions, leading through transformation, and fostering innovation.

 Your background: 
  • This role requires a background in Product Management, demonstrated experience in leading complex, large-scale product organizations and may require a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field.
  • Experience leading large-scale product teams or divisions.
  • Proven track records coaching and mentoring product teams, ensure alignment to overall division expectations.
  • Demonstrated experience setting overall division direction and strategy.
  • Expertise in aligning technical solutions with strategic business objectives.
  • Exceptional strategic planning, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Highly effective communicator with the ability to navigate complex challenges and build collaborative relationships.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with product management tools
  • Strong data analytics and metric tracking skills.
  • Extensive understanding of all product aspects, including UX/UI principles and the overall product development lifecycle
 
Base Salary Range: $224,422 - $277,200
This position is also eligible to participate in our performance-based annual corporate bonus plan.  Final base compensation is determined by a number of factors, including but not limited to job-related skills, education, demonstrable experience, and allowance for future and continued salary growth.
