About the Position:
George Mason University's Human Resources office is looking for a passionate and enthusiastic individual to serve as a part-time Talent Development Assistant. This role will support executive scheduling and support initiatives across the Talent Development Center of Excellence (CoE), including workplace coaching, faculty and staff engagement, and organizational development and learning.
Responsibilities:
- Executive scheduling for multiple busy calendars, and managing priorities in a timely and professional manner;
- Provide administrative support to the Assistant Vice President and Chief Learning Officer, including day-to-day management of multiple talent development projects;
- Create and maintain a coaching dashboard, including managing the evaluation process for coaching services and providing administrative support to the Coaching Manager as needed;
- Utilize a Learning Management System (LMS) to post trainings, manage registrations, run attendance reports, and update learning communities;
- Provide technical support for virtual meetings, including moderating Zoom meetings; and
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience with data management;
- Demonstrated attention to detail.
- Effective interpersonal communication and customer service skills, including tact and diplomacy;
- Ability to prioritize competing deadlines, follow through, and be flexible;
- Ability to handle highly confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism;
- Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision; and
- Ability to collaborate with diverse individuals with differing needs at all levels of the organization.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a Human Resources setting;
- Higher education or public workforce experience;
- Demonstrated experience managing executive schedules in MS Outlook;
- Experience with Project Management tools or methodologies; and
- Qualtrics and/or learning management systems experience highly preferred.
