Survey Intern - Summer 2027
Location: Regional Indiana offices
Employment Type: Full-Time Internship
For over 70 years Fishbeck has been building. As a 100% employee-owned firm, every team member has a stake in what we build together-our work, our reputation, and our future. Now we need to add a Survey Internto help us keep building.
Working with our Surveying team, you willassist with evaluations and design of Water/Wastewater projects.
What You'll Do
  • Assist in engineering evaluations and design of water and wastewater systems.
  • Analyze data and help prepare technical reports.
  • Collaborate with engineers and survey professionals across multiple offices.
  • Participate in site visits and client meetings to observe project conditions firsthand.

What We're Looking For
  • Currently enrolled in a Survey Engineering, Survey Technology, or Civil Engineering program.
  • AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or Micro Station experience, preferably in the land development industry.
  • Ability to learn basic design concepts and technical calculations.
  • GPS knowledge is a plus.
  • Possess valid driver's license.
  • Available for occasional travel, long hours, and occasional weekends.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, follow direction, and work independently.
  • Experience utilizing Microsoft Office including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
