Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist to join our cardiovascular team in Sierra Vista, AZ. The ideal candidate will assist in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiac and peripheral vascular diseases while ensuring patient safety and optimal clinical outcomes.
This role involves supporting and performing procedures such as cardiac catheterizations, percutaneous coronary interventions, and pacemaker implantation, along with other advanced cardiovascular interventions.
Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for cardiac catheterization and related procedures, ensuring comfort, safety, and proper readiness
  • Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, including:
    • Cardiac catheterization
    • Percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI)
    • Permanent pacemaker implantation
  • Monitor and assess patient status during and after procedures
  • Operate and maintain Cath Lab imaging and monitoring equipment according to hospital and manufacturer protocols
  • Support additional procedures as needed, including:
    • Cardiac stress testing
    • Loop recorder implantation
    • Venous ablation procedures
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient records in compliance with regulatory and institutional standards
  • Follow all infection control, safety, and clinical compliance guidelines (CVMC, AACN, CCI, SICP)
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
  • Certification: Current CVT, ARRT, or RCIS required
  • Experience: 1-2 years of Cath Lab or related cardiovascular experience preferred
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited program in cardiovascular technology or radiologic technology
  • Additional Requirement: ACLS certification required within 90 days of hire
