Nurse Manager II - Operating Room
Location-Hillsboro, OR (Onsite)
Salary: $171,000 - $180,000
Vendor fee-$6840-$7200
Position Overview
The Nurse Manager II for the Operating Room is responsible for leading clinical and operational functions within a surgical services environment. This role requires strong Operating Room leadership experience and the ability to manage patient care delivery, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive quality and safety outcomes within an acute care hospital setting.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage Operating Room nursing operations and staff
  • Oversee patient care delivery to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and healthcare laws
  • Drive quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
  • Manage staffing, workforce planning, and performance management
  • Collaborate with physicians, surgeons, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Support emergency preparedness and surgical readiness
  • Promote staff development, training, and engagement
  • Monitor operational performance and healthcare quality standards
Must-Have Requirements
  • Strong Operating Room leadership experience (required)
  • Minimum 5 years of patient care delivery experience
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN required)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in healthcare operations or related field
  • Minimum 4 years of leadership experience (with or without direct reports)
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Oregon (required at hire)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required at hire)
Preferred Qualifications

  • Certification from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)
