DESCRIPTION
• As the Meter Exchange Project Coordinator on the Meter Operations Crew Coordination team, you will provide project support by processing meter exchange work orders and resolve any related exceptions in the customer billing system to ensure accurate and proper billing.
• We are looking for someone who is driven, detail oriented, analytical, and highly customer focused! • This role will execute, manage and process work related to the Commercial Mid-Peak Meter Exchange Project while partnering with the Meter Operations Crew Coordination team. Process all related follow up to ensure accurate
• installation of metering in the system for proper billing.
• Reviewing data, identifying (potential) issues, and processing work orders to properly set up metering data on accounts after a meter exchange has been performed.
• Responding to customer inquiries, requests, and calls. As such, you will provide information to customers regarding outages, connections, or work orders. Escalates situations as required.
• Coordinating, entering, monitoring and closing work orders related to area(s) of specialization. Works with other departments to ensure work orders are processed.
• Follow processes and procedures and ensures accurate data entry. Provide recommendations of changes to processes and ensuring documentations and job aids are completed.
• Process all related follow up to ensure accurate installation of metering in the system for proper billing (device configurations, multiplier ratios, etc...)
• Bring the following knowledge, skills and experience to the team:
• Fundamentals of electricity and the electrical system
• Customer and work order systems
• Customer service transactions and procedures
• Regulations and tariffs related to electricity delivery
• Must be self-motivated and driven to achieve results
Team and Work Environment
• Can you give a high-level overview of your team size, roles, its initiatives/deliverables, and any tool/technologies specific to your team/department/project they will be supporting Team of about 10-20 people who do dispatching and coordination for meter related work.
• C2M Billing system, Smart Meter Toolbox, Powertrack, MDM, Field Manager, ODM OJT and process steps documented for this work
• What would "a day in the life" of this role look like?: Find work in the queue, make the needed updates, double check for accuracy, move on to next item in the queue
• What interaction level with this role have the team members and hiring manager? Training and support from team members and manager - unlikely to have daily contact once understand the work
• What would you say is the top priority for the worker over the first few weeks/months?: Learn the procedural steps and demonstrate ability to execute accurately. Accuracy is of extreme importance.
• What do you foresee being the biggest challenge in this role? Learning the steps and systems quickly, but taking your time to ensure accuracy

REQUIREMENT
• Education Requirements (Experience in Lieu of Degree): Typically, 5+ year in customers service, billing, metering in utility setting
• Years of Experience: 5 years
• Schedule is Monday - Friday 8am-5pm (schedule flexibility is offered if it meets business needs).
• Is utilities experience required? (Y/N) Yes
