Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Location: Colorado Springs, CO
Job Type: Full-Time | On-site

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join a growing cardiovascular clinic in Colorado Springs. This role is focused on delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging that directly supports patient care and outcomes in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, administer, and measure radioactive isotopes for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures under physician direction
  • Perform SPECT and PET imaging for cardiac and diagnostic studies
  • Operate and maintain nuclear imaging equipment and ensure proper calibration
  • Conduct cardiac imaging procedures to identify and assess abnormalities
  • Take patient histories, explain procedures, and ensure patient comfort and safety
  • Calculate, measure, and document radiopharmaceutical doses accurately
  • Perform quality control checks and maintain compliance with regulatory standards
  • Safely handle, store, and dispose of radioactive materials
  • Maintain accurate records and support departmental accreditation requirements
Required Qualifications
  • Current certification and licensure as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB or ARRT-N)
  • Strong knowledge of nuclear imaging procedures and radiation safety protocols
  • Experience with SPECT and PET imaging preferred, especially in cardiac applications
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and compliance
  • Excellent communication and patient care skills
Preferred Qualifications
