Corporate Tax Manager
Industry: Accounting / Finance Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL (Hybrid - 2-3 days on-site) Employment Type: Full-time / Permanent Salary: $138,000 - $150,000 per annum + Benefits
Position Summary We are seeking a Corporate Tax Manager to join our Corporate Tax Solutions practice. In this role, you will lead business income tax planning, corporate compliance, and ASC 740 income tax accounting. You will be responsible for maintaining primary tax relationships with clients and managing multiple high-level engagements.
Key Responsibilities
  • Engagement Management: Oversee client engagements from start to finish, including planning, execution, and completion within budget.
  • Review & Compliance: Conduct primary reviews of complex federal/state tax returns and ASC 740 income tax provisions.
  • Leadership & Mentoring: Supervise, train, and mentor senior associates, associates, and interns, while assessing overall staff performance.
  • Client Relationship & Business Development: Maintain strong working relationships with clients and identify opportunities to provide value-added services.
  • Tax Advisory: Research and consult on various tax matters and handle inquiries from the IRS and state/local tax authorities.

Requirements & Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
  • Certification: Must have a CPA or JD/active law license.
  • Experience: Minimum 4-7 years of progressive tax compliance or consulting experience within a public accounting firm.
  • Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in corporate income tax, ASC 740 Accounting for Income Taxes, and tax software like OneSource.
