Job Title: Controller Location: Claremore, OK Type: Full-Time Compensation: $100,000.00-$120,000.00 Contractor Work Model: Onsite Hours: 40.0

Position Overview

We are seeking a hands-on Controller to lead all accounting and finance functions for a growing manufacturing company. This role requires strong technical accounting skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to own and improve the close process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close with a focus on accuracy and efficiency
  • Prepare financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)
  • Manage full-cycle accounting: A/P, A/R, general ledger, and reconciliations
  • Ensure GAAP compliance and maintain internal controls
  • Oversee cost accounting, including standard costing, inventory, and variance analysis
  • Partner with operations to improve costing, margins, and efficiency
  • Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and reporting requirements
  • Provide financial insights to support business decisions

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 8+ years of accounting experience in manufacturing
  • Strong cost accounting and inventory experience
  • Proven ability to manage full-cycle accounting independently
  • Experience improving month-end close processes
  • Solid understanding of GAAP
