Position Summary

The System Administrator is responsible for maintaining, monitoring, and optimizing the companys IT infrastructure, systems, networks, and security environment. This role ensures stable system performance, secure access, and efficient IT operations while supporting employees with day-to-day technical needs. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in system administration, cloud platforms, cybersecurity fundamentals, and troubleshooting within a small-to-mid-size enterprise environment.


Responsibilities


Infrastructure & Systems Management

  • Manage, monitor, and maintain on-premises and cloud-based server environments.
  • Support and configure network equipment including routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and Wi-Fi systems.
  • Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and IT peripherals.
  • Administer Microsoft 365, Azure AD, Google Workspace, or equivalent cloud platforms.
  • Perform system updates, patch management, and configuration improvements.

Cybersecurity & Compliance

  • Monitor and respond to security incidents, alerts, and vulnerabilities.
  • Manage endpoint protection, email security solutions, MFA, and firewall policies.
  • Conduct security assessments, enforce security standards, and support compliance frameworks (SOC, NIST, ISO preferred but not required).
  • Maintain backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity procedures.
  • Manage identity and access control including user provisioning and permission reviews.

IT Support & Operations

  • Provide Tier 1/2 technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • Manage IT asset inventory, software licensing, hardware procurement, and vendor coordination.
  • Document IT procedures, troubleshooting steps, and user guides.
  • Support onboarding/offboarding processes including account setup, access management, and device preparation.

Project & Cross-Functional Support

  • Support IT infrastructure upgrades, cloud migration initiatives, and security enhancement projects.
  • Collaborate with headquarters and cross-border IT teams to align global standards and best practices.
  • Assist with technical documentation for RFP/RFI submissions related to IT or security requirements.


Basic Qualifications


  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in system administration or IT infrastructure
  • Experience with Microsoft 365, Azure AD, or similar platforms
  • Knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewalls)
  • Experience with endpoint protection and basic cybersecurity practices
