Position Title: Sage Intacct Systems Administrator

Position Type: Regular Full-Time

Department: Finance & Administration

Location: Washington, DC or Baltimore, MD (Hybrid) or Remote if located outside the local area

Salary Range: $71,000 - $92,500 - $114,000

Corus International is seeking a Sage Intacct Systems Administrator to join the Finance & Administration team. This position reports to the Global Control and can be based at the Headquarters in Washington, DC or Baltimore, Maryland. This is a hybrid remote position working two days each week in the office on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Position Summary:

The Sage Intacct Systems Administrator will be actively involved in the implementation of Sage Intacct as the organization's new financial ERP system, supporting system design, configuration, testing, and golive activities. Post go-live, this role will be responsible for the day-to-day administration, optimization, and integrity of the Sage Intacct financial system. This role serves as a critical bridge between Finance, IT, and business stakeholders, ensuring system reliability, data accuracy, scalable configurations, and the continuous improvement of financial processes.

The position plays a key role in supporting accounting operations, reporting, integrations, security controls, and system enhancements, while maintaining compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

System Administration & Configuration

  • Serve as the primary administrator for Sage Intacct, including user access management, roles, permissions, dimensions, and system settings.
  • Configure and maintain core and optional modules (e.g., General Ledger, Dynamic Allocations, Global Consolidations, Purchasing, AP, AR, Cash Management, Fixed Assets, Projects, Contracts, Timesheets, Lease Accounting, Grants, as applicable).
  • Support system upgrades, releases, and new feature adoption in coordination with Sage and implementation partners.

Business Process Support

  • Partner with Finance and Operations teams to translate business requirements into system configurations and workflows.
  • Troubleshoot system issues, resolve errors, and provide root cause analysis with timely resolution.
  • Maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and controls.

Reporting & Data Integrity

  • Develop and maintain financial and operational reports and dashboards using Sage Intacct tools.
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across modules and reporting outputs.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, audit, and management reporting needs.

Integrations & Optimization

  • Support and monitor integrations between Sage Intacct and other enterprise systems. Preferably Planful, Tipalti and ADP.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and automate processes using Sage Intacct functionality and best practices.
  • Coordinate with vendors, consultants, and internal IT on enhancements and troubleshooting.

Security, Compliance & Controls

  • Enforce user access controls and segregation of duties in compliance with internal controls and audit requirements.
  • Support external and internal audits by providing system documentation, reports, and control evidence.
  • Ensure system use aligns with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.

Training & User Support

  • Provide training, job aids, and ongoing support to Finance and business users.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and point of escalation for Sage Intacct related questions.

Supervisory:

  • This position does not have supervisory responsibility.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Information Systems, or related field; or the equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
  • Minimum of five years of relevant experience, including significant experience administering Sage Intacct.
  • Experience supporting nonprofits, NGOs, or multi entity/multi-currency environments.
  • Experience system configuration (dimensions, reporting, workflows, security) and audit/compliance frameworks.
  • Exposure to change management, system documentation, end user training, and enterprise reporting tools such as Fabric or Power BI.
  • Sage Intacct certification(s).
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial processes, and internal controls.
  • Familiarity with integrations, APIs, or middleware tools.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate cross functionally and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Highly proactive and detail oriented with strong analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills.
  • Process driven with a continuous improvement mindset and strong documentation discipline.
  • Customer service oriented, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple requests effectively.

  • Experience integrating with Planful, Tipalti and/or ADP preferred.
