Job Description:
This role supports day-to-day IT and infrastructure operations within a secure program environment, contributing to system reliability, compliance, and cross-functional collaboration across a tightly integrated team.
Job Summary
Support daily IT and infrastructure operations, including workstation setup, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance
Manage domains, users, permissions, and access administration within a secure environment
Assist senior engineers and administrators with ongoing infrastructure initiatives and approved system changes
Support network-related changes, infrastructure updates, and security accreditation and compliance efforts
Help maintain GIS-related platforms and tooling in alignment with programmatic and security requirements
Participate in scripting and automation tasks using Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar languages
Collaborate cross-functionally with developers, analysts, and infrastructure teams in a fast-changing, dynamic environment
Minimum Requirements:
Active Full Scope Polygraph (FS Poly) clearance
Minimum 3 years of Systems Administration or infrastructure support experience in Linux and Windows environments
Experience supporting enterprise IT environments, including domains, user administration, workstation support, and network troubleshooting
Experience working within highly secure or compliance-driven environments
Basic scripting experience in Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar
Ability to work onsite 5 days per week in the Northern Virginia area
Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Linux administration experience in a program or secure environment
Python scripting experience applied to infrastructure or automation tasks
Experience with cloud or cloud architecture environments
Exposure to GIS-related tooling or platforms
Infrastructure automation experience
Experience supporting security accreditation initiatives
Experience collaborating closely with developers and analysts
