This position works within the Enterprise Data Center (EDC) in the Commonwealth Technology Center (CTC) in the Bureau of Computer and Messaging Services.ย  This position provides support for the EDC data center infrastructure services including Windows and Linux server administration, Active Directory services, Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) administration, Patch Management and systems and application monitoring.
Knowledge advantageous for this position includes experience with:

Description of Duties
- Provides customer support for troubleshooting issues within the EDC.
- Administers and maintains an enterprise Active Directory environment.
- Maintains and supports enterprise Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) services.
- Works with clients and other technical teams to define requirements for monitoring systems and applications deployed within the EDC.
- Configures, maintains and documents custom monitoring solutions.
- Deploys, configures, administers and upgrades EDC's Microsoft System Center Operations Manager (SCOM) implementation.
- Develops patch management plan for applying patches to EDC servers in a multi-tiered environment.
- Participates in monthly patching cycle to apply patches and monitor compliance.
- Deploys, configures, administers and upgrades EDC's Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) implementation.
ย  - Develops and maintains Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for EDC processes.
- Maintains current knowledge of enterprise policies and procedures including IT Bulletins, Management Directives, CISO security recommendations and EDC practices in order to ensure service offerings are in compliance with established policies.
