Job Description
Minotaur Systems and Network Administrator (MSNA)
The requirements listed define the Minotaur Systems and Network Administrator (MSNA)
responsibilities and tasking. The MSNA is an educated, qualified and certified individual that is
able to analyze detailed system designs and functional requirements for Minotaur Mission
Systems (MMS). The MSNA shall use software, systems, and network administration
practices to plan, create, configure, improve, maintain and test the core software systems and
sensor software baselines. The MSNA shall support the Chief Integration Engineer (CIE) and
other team members to accomplish development activities and execute the MMS development
and deployment plans. The MSNA shall be able to receive guidance from mid/senior software
developers and engineers while supporting senior leadership with mission execution.
The MSNA shall be qualified to execute the below functions with minimal guidance.
MSNA1: Analyze software & hardware architectures, designs and functional requirements for
aircraft, marine & surface mission systems.
MSNA2: Develop system requirements.
MSNA3: Design, develop, test and implement MMS designs and software applications using
tools such as Microsoft Visio, .dwg applications, Linux, System Security Protocol (SSP),
NXLog, JAVA, Javascript, Python, SQL, OWL, CSS, C++, C#, Bootstrap, XML, HTML &
WMSNAL.
MSNA4: Manage set up, configuration and maintenance of the MMS lab and network
environment.
MSNA5: Develop interfaces to other systems and sensors for tooling, configuration, service
updates and data recording.
MSNA6: Support development, installation and support of computer systems and software on
a variety of MMS hardware configurations in a lab environment or on asset.
MSNA7: Install, run and apply various software and firmware applications for the MMS.
MSNA8: Develop and conduct unit, auto-test, system functional tests, integration tests and
lab/asset testing.
MSNA9: Develop technical documentation and reports (MS word, PPT, excel) related to MMS.
MSNA10: Work with team members to provide system usability, reliability, maintainability and
resolve customer trouble reports.
MSNA11: Build system, data, map and satellite drives from the data base.
MSNA12: Conduct System Administration functions such as password set up, system cyber
scans, create log in access, SSP/NXlog functions, troubleshoot networks and manage
accounts.
MSNA13: Execute frequent travel to meet Government requirements.
MSNA14: Obtain and Maintain at least a Secret clearance.
MSNA15: Be able to accept guidance from Senior Developers, Engineers and Mentors.
MSNA16: Conduct reviews and accept feedback from team members, leadership &
Government users.
MSNA17: Build visions, business relationships & goals for future endeavors.
Job Requirements
Requirement of Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering/Science or
other suitable equivalent in education or applicable certifications (CompTIA Security+/CPR,
etc) with experience as a Network Engineer/Systems Administrator.
A minimum of a Secret Clearance is required for this position.
Proven performance of work, development, internship with communication and teaming skills.
Must be able to lift/carry 20-50 lbs.
