Job description

  • Perform accounting and financial reporting to PMs and organization leadership in the Intelligent Transportation Systems and High Reliability Systems Departments.
  • Provide custom invoicing, cost tracking, and earned value in coordination with numerous project managers.
  • Perform custom financial submittals, budget allocations, and coordinate estimates for both proposals and projects.
  • Work autonomously and proactively to improve project financial performance through effective support of PMs, market leaders, and organizational managers.
  • Audit and monitor cost accounting system and financial reporting data to identify issues and performance concerns across projects, organizations, and market areas.

  • Provide custom invoicing / billing on a monthly basis for approximately 15 projects.
  • Provide cost tracking, and earned value in coordination with numerous project managers.
  • Develop financial and performance metric reports.
  • Develop custom financial submittals, budget allocations, estimations, as part of proposals and projects.
  • Work autonomously to with project leadership and organization leadership to identify process changes and work flows to improve performance tracking and financial support aspects of 3 departments and over 40 different projects.

  • Requires a Bachelors degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related degree field with relevant experience.
  • 2+ years: Accounting, business, or government billing, financial, and project cost tracking experience.
  • 2+ years: Strong expertise using Microsoft Excel including proficiency with using formulas and creating graphs/tables.
  • 2+ years: Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • 2+ years: Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills from working in a team environment.
  • A valid/clear driver's license is required.
