Lake Butler Hospital is a critical access hospital in North Florida providing 24-hour emergency services, inpatient hospitalization, swing bed program, rehabilitation services, outpatient laboratory, and outpatient radiology (X-ray, ultrasound, and CT Scan) services to Union County and the surrounding counties. We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Cook to join our team!


Job Summary:

Cook must assist in dietary and Cafe operations, patient quality and care, and maintain professional guest relations. Cooks food according to methods which ensures maximum nutritional value and pleasing appearance. Prepares food according to individual patient needs and HAACP guidelines. Communicates with Chef/Supervisor for inventory and ordering needs to perform duties.






Requirements:

Education: High School Diploma/GED


Experience: 2-3 years or more experience in dining services, healthcare setting preferred.


Skills: Good people skills and communicates well.


Knowledge: Kitchen equipment and functions. Serve Safe Certified.


Abilities: Can work independently as well as being a team player.
