Responsibilities
The Provider Recruiter is responsible for driving physician and APP recruitment efforts for their respective area which may include various medical specialties and primary care.
  • Lead full-cycle physician and Advanced Practice Provider (APP) recruitment initiatives across assigned service lines, including both specialty and primary care practices, to support organizational growth objectives.
  • Partner collaboratively with physician and operational leadership to understand strategic workforce priorities and develop targeted recruitment strategies aligned with business and market needs.
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle, including proactive sourcing, networking, candidate screening, interviewing, presentation to leadership, offer development, contract negotiation, and onboarding support.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with medical and operational leaders to support provider growth planning, workforce forecasting, and recruitment execution.
  • Independently source, assess, and present highly qualified physician and APP candidates to designated medical leadership teams for consideration and selection.
  • Analyze market trends, compensation benchmarks, and specialty-specific data to develop competitive compensation recommendations and support recruitment strategy decisions.
  • Draft, facilitate, and negotiate physician and provider employment agreements in collaboration with candidates, leadership, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely offer acceptance and contract execution.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive sourcing strategies utilizing national and local advertising, digital recruitment platforms, direct outreach, residency and fellowship programs, conferences, networking events, and referral channels.
  • Leverage databases, social media platforms, job boards, referrals, and market intelligence tools to build and maintain robust pipelines of physician and APP talent for current and future hiring needs.
  • Provide workforce market intelligence and specialty-specific recruitment insights to leadership based on evolving industry trends, compensation benchmarks, and competitive landscape analysis.
  • Conduct proactive outreach to prospective candidates to generate interest in career opportunities and strengthen long-term recruitment pipelines.
  • Perform comprehensive candidate screenings and behavioral-based interviews to assess qualifications, clinical experience, cultural alignment, and overall fit for organizational and departmental needs.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree Required
  • 5+ years of full cycle recruiting experience. Experience recruiting physicians or providers across a broad spectrum of medical specialties. Experience working independently in automated talent systems.
  • Business acumen needed to understand medical segment growth goals and translate into recruitment goals. Strong project management skills. Ability to build relationships with candidates and internal clients across the organization.
  • Strong marketing and presentation skills, ability to effectively present information in a formal setting. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Required knowledge of Microsoft office and ATS tools.

The compensation for this role includes a base pay range of $73,399-$110,098, with the actual pay determined by factors such as skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package
