How can I make 2000 a week working from home?

Support workers typically earn hourly wages that may not reach $2,000 weekly unless working full-time hours or overtime. To increase income, they can seek additional shifts, specialize in high-demand areas, or obtain certifications to qualify for higher-paying roles, often working remotely or in flexible schedules. Earning $2,000 a week from a support worker role generally requires significant hours or supplementary income sources.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Support Worker, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Support Worker, you need a foundational understanding of care principles, safeguarding, and often a relevant qualification such as a Level 2 or 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care. Familiarity with care planning systems, risk assessment tools, and basic first aid or medication administration certifications is typically required. Compassion, patience, and strong interpersonal skills help build trust and rapport with clients facing various challenges. These skills are crucial for delivering safe, person-centered support that enhances clients' well-being and independence.

What jobs pay 4000 a week without a degree?

Support workers typically do not earn $4,000 a week without specialized skills or certifications. High-paying roles that can reach this level without a degree often include sales managers, real estate brokers, or certain entrepreneurial ventures, but these usually require experience, licensing, or business acumen rather than formal education. Most jobs paying this amount without a degree involve commission, bonuses, or self-employment.

  • Championing choice, dignity and cultural respect in all client interactions
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation

About you

  • Hold minimum Certificate III in Individual Support or above
  • A passion for safeguarding human rights and working within a purpose-driven organisation
  • Hold or be willing to obtain a current NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working With Children Check
  • Current First Aid (or willingness to obtain)
  • Current Driver's Licence
  • A reliable vehicle and willingness to transport clients for community-based duties (mileage reimbursed)
  • Passport, Birth Certificate or Citizenship Certificate to validate Australian work rights
  • Willingness to complete a National & International Police Check (paid by Afford)
  • Ability to complete a Pre-Employment Medical/Functional Assessment (paid by Afford)

What we offer

  • Be part of a team united by a common purpose, vision, and values, working together towards a clear and meaningful strategic direction.
  • Benefit from our commitment to your professional growth and career progression, with initiatives designed to nurture and grow exceptional talent.
  • Increase your take-home pay with tax-free NFP salary packaging options, including up to $15,900 for living expenses and $2,650 for entertainment each year.
  • Enjoy a workplace that recognises your efforts with a strong rewards program, flexible working arrangements, and wellbeing initiatives like subsidised gym memberships.
  • Join an organisation that values being good humans and good corporate citizens. We celebrate diversity, inclusion, and belonging, support First Nations reconciliation, make ethical choices, and view our commitment to our clients as a lifelong journey.
