The Association for Individual Development (AID) is a non-profit organization whose mission is to empower people with physical, developmental, intellectual, mental health challenges, those who have suffered a trauma, and those at risk to enjoy lives of dignity and purpose.  We are looking for a Rehabilitative Services Associate (RSA) Receptionist Bilingual who exemplifies that mission and wants to work for an organization that makes a difference.

Shift: 8:00am-4:30pm Monday-Friday

What will you be doing?

  • Greet clients and answer phones
  • Be professional and courteous at all times.
  • Support program operations
  • Complete monthly psychiatric billing
  • Enter RSA MRO Rule 132 services into Cx360
  • Scanning client records into Cx360
  • Copying, faxing and distributing staff mail
  • Track use of and order needed office supplies
  • Psychiatric clinic tasks-scheduling, reminder calls, etc
  • General Secretarial and Support duties
  • Fluent in Spanish and English; Translating as needed

What will you bring to the table?

  • High School diploma or equivalent   
  • Two years experience in general office procedures preferred 
  • Bilingual in Spanish required

Physical:

  • Use multi-line phone system, keyboard, mouse, headset.
  • Unpack delivered boxes and put supplies in closets and cupboards. Be able to lift light weights, stoop and bend.

Equipment:

  • Proficient in the use of general business equipment including Computers, Copy Machines and Telephones with a voice mail system.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook

Other requirements: 

  • Must be organized and have pleasant telephone manners. 
  • Must be able to handle multiple demands 
  • Attend in-service trainings, as required 
  • Valid Illinois Drivers license 
  • Use of employee personal automobile 
  • Minimum amount of automobile liability insurance as defined by AID’s personnel policies
  • Demonstrate respectful communication with staff, clients, visitors
  • Provide good Customer service
