We are a custom injection molding company known for producing high quality products that meet the needs of our customers.

The Plant Manager manages manufacturing resources to support the sales of the company.  This role ensures that adequate resources, including equipment, capital and co-workers, are available and functioning at maximum efficiency, safety and quality.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Manages the overall functions of the manufacturing and manufacturing support departments.
  • Manages co-workers including recruitment of qualified personnel, performance management, scheduling, corrective action, etc. 
  • Administer the development and implementation of operating methods and procedures designed to eliminate operating problems, improve product quality and ensure that safety is a priority in the factory.
  • Administers company policy and interacts with Human Resources to insure proper adherence to McDonald Plastic Molding policies and practices.
  • Prepares annual budgets, including capital expenditures, for assigned departments.
  • Continues the Deming philosophy of constant improvement; documents or revises ISO 9001 procedures to ensure compliance with established standards.
  • Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups and/or boards of directors.
  • Coordinates with the leadership team for new production equipment purchases from evaluation to implementation.
  • Attends Company and industry-related meetings and seminars, as required, to remain current with today's management techniques and latest manufacturing technology.
  • Develops informational documents, progress reports, charts, justification, etc. prepares management reports as required
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
