Join Our Team as a Product Serviceability Lead at Epiroc!

Responsible for ensuring the serviceability of existing products and new products being released by Epiroc Electrification Solutions (EES).

Work Type (Onsite/Hybrid/Remote):

Responsibilities:

  • Own EES service tool portfolio from a technical perspective - this includes internally developed, co-developed, and purchased service tools
    • Software based tools (laptop applications, internal Linux controllers), hardware-based tools (Gameboy like devices), physical tools (charge/discharge tools, etc.)
  • Coordinate the development of service tools with the internal engineering team, engineering teams from other divisions, and external suppliers
  • Work collaboratively with Epiroc's Parts and Service Division (PSD) on service strategies for current and future products. Translate strategies into tangible tools and products for EES and PSD
  • Drive requirements towards new product development in relation to serviceability
    • Service tools, manuals, documentation, service intervals, etc.
  • Participate in design reviews, approve requirements, and act as stakeholder in projects
  • Align service tool roadmaps to support product roadmaps from Global Technical Product Managers (TPMs) for both Battery and Infrastructure

Knowledge/Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related technical field. Technical diplomas considered as well
  • Journeyman red-seal also considered an asset - heavy duty equipment technician, automotive service technician, instrumentation and automation
  • 5+ years of related industry experience required, 10+ years preferred
  • Background in service, support, and diagnostics of machines, vehicles, and/or industrial equipment. Hands on experience is an asset
  • Experience defining and delivering service or diagnostic software products
  • Strong understanding and experience with of key service principles like OTA, predictive maintenance, digital twins, remote logging and diagnostics
  • Experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, Systems Engineer, or Technical Program Manager
  • Experience with EV batteries and EV chargers is an asset
    • Understanding of battery systems, BMS, and high-voltage architectures
    • Experience with CAN-based diagnostics (e.g., J1939, UDS) and service tooling
  • Software development experience is an asset but not essential
