We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a pay rate of $29.78/hr. however, Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline. Job Description:
This position is responsible for the programming, setup, operation and maintenance of CNC mills and mill-turn machining centers, CAM software and related systems. Responsibilities include the timely production of precision components affecting prototyping, production runs and engineering deliverables, as well as routine equipment maintenance.
- Detailed knowledge of basic machining concepts, CNC hardware and CAM software troubleshooting, and machine operation.
- Experience programming and operating CNC mills or mill-turn machining centers in a precision manufacturing environment.
- Experience with CAM software (Mastercam, Fusion 360, NX, or HyperMill) for toolpath development desirable.
- Basic proficiency in SolidWorks, NX, or equivalent CAD software for reading and interpreting 3D models and engineering drawings.
- Basic working knowledge of fixture and workholding design (custom jigs and fixtures preferable) at a fabrication level.
- Solid knowledge of machining fundamentals including feeds and speeds, tool selection, GD&T, and surface finish requirements.
- Self motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to maintain Customer Focus, stay motivated and be proactive.
- Must be able to safely lift up to 50 lbs.
- Over 3 years relevant work experience.
