Job Title: Production Support Engineer
Location: Boston, MA - 4 days onsite per week
Length: 7-10 months

Project Description:

Guideline Monitoring is a Tier 1 Investment Compliance platform tightly integrated with Order Management Systems to enforce pre-trade and post-trade compliance across the firm's global asset portfolios.

The platform powers the coding, testing, and ongoing monitoring of thousands of investment guidelines within compliance engine, providing real-time breach detection and escalation workflows that are critical to regulatory and client-mandate adherence.

This role sits at the intersection of technology and the investment process, offering direct exposure to front-office workflows, senior compliance stakeholders, and a sophisticated production environment operating at enterprise scale.

Must Have Skills:

Asset Management / Investment Compliance Domain: Good understanding of guideline monitoring, investment mandates, and compliance workflows in an asset management or capital markets setting. Familiarity with pre-trade and post-trade compliance concepts is essential.

Advanced SQL Skills: Strong, production-grade SQL for querying compliance rule result sets, investigating data anomalies, generating custom outputs, and supporting root-cause analysis on rule failures. Experience with large financial datasets is preferred.

Stakeholder Communication: Confident, articulate communicator who can interface directly with business users, compliance officers, and senior stakeholders. Ability to translate technical findings into plain business language is critical given the Tier 1 nature of the application.

Production Support Lifecycle Proven experience in end-to-end production support incident triage, P1 bridge coordination, root-cause analysis, escalation management, and user communication. Experience supporting a follow-the-sun or 24×7 model is strongly preferred.
AI-Native Aptitude Comfort working with AI-assisted development workflows and an interest in applying AI tooling to support automation is a growing priority for this team.

Requirements:

Strong understanding of Asset Management and Investment Compliance domains, including guideline monitoring, investment mandates, and compliance workflows.

Hands-on experience with pre-trade and post-trade compliance concepts in an asset management or capital markets environment.

Advanced, production-grade SQL skills for querying compliance rule outputs, investigating data issues, and supporting root-cause analysis.

Proven experience across the full production support lifecycle, including incident triage, P1 bridge participation, escalation management, and stakeholder communication.

Experience supporting Tier 1, business-critical applications operating at enterprise scale.

Confident communicator able to translate complex technical findings into clear, business-focused language for senior stakeholders.

Comfort working with AI-assisted workflows and a strong interest in applying AI tooling to support automation and operational efficiency.

Willingness to work flexible hours as part of a global 24×7 production support model.
