Job Summary:
Saviance is seeking an IT Support Engineer to join Baylor Genetics, an industry leader in genetics testing. The role involves providing technical assistance and support for computer systems, hardware, and software, while ensuring customer satisfaction and minimizing downtime.
Responsibilities:
• Troubleshoots hardware and software problems.
• Assists in moving computer equipment.
• Installs new computer equipment.
• Installs specific software packages, including but not limited to, operating systems, word processing, or spreadsheet programs.
• Assembles new computers including hardware and peripheral components, such as keyboards, printers, and disk drives.
• Resolves requests using approved methods in accordance with established procedures and service levels.
• Documents all resolutions including all bug fixes.
• Follow up with all customers to ensure work orders are completed and to ascertain customer satisfaction.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required:
• A+ or MCP Certification or equivalent demonstrated knowledge.
Preferred:
• MSCE Certification or equivalent demonstrated knowledge.
