Job description

TAS is hiring a Maintenance Supervisor to lead and support a team of skilled technicians in a fast-paced manufacturing environment! We're looking for a hands-on leader with strong technical knowledge and a passion for driving reliability and efficiency. POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Maintenance Supervisor will oversee day-to-day maintenance operations, including equipment maintenance and repair, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting. The supervisor will also manage a team of maintenance personnel, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to safety standards.
Assigning preventative maintenance using an automated CMMS and maintaining asset inventory for production equipment, including general operations of TAS equipment and vehicles. The Maintenance Supervisor will also maintain shop organization, assess department tool needs, maintain equipment manuals, and ensure sufficient spare parts are available for all critical equipment.
KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Create work schedules to ensure equipment is properly maintained.
  • Create work orders using CMMS.
  • Evaluate work performance and enforce company policies
  • Monitor employees and contractors to ensure safety and company policies are followed.
  • Communicate maintenance-related activities and equipment statuses to the manager teams.
  • Perform periodic reports, keep records, and evaluate employee performance.
  • Monitor and schedule outside service
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by TAS Management Team.

EDUCATION & TRAINING:

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  • Five years of related experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Must have a good command of the English language, both written and verbal
  • Prior Supervisory Skills

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
  • Certification in one or more of the following:
    • Electrical
    • HVAC
    • Mechanical

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:
  • Work performed in a shop environment.
  • Exposed to any number of elements but with none present to the extent of being disagreeable.
  • Requires normal vision and absence of color blindness.
  • Physical effort equal to frequent moving of up to 50lbs materials.
  • Regularly required to sit or stand, bend and reach.
  • The use of PPE is required.
  • Ability to stand up to 10 hours a day (with a lunch in between) and up to 6 days a week.
  • Ability to work in a non-air-conditioned environment.
  • Steel-toe boots required in Manufacturing Facility.
