Job Summary-

As a new Buff Care Specialist, your primary role is to provide exceptional guest services to achieve our mission to “delight our guests and communities we serve with our uniquely scented handmade plant-based self-care products, educating them through an unforgettable retail experience.”

We will teach you how to make our custom products on-site through our proven Buff City Soap production processes. You will learn about each of our products so you can readily share knowledge of these benefits to each guest and tailor to their specific personal care and household needs.

You will learn how to serve our guests through our “lead by example” approach; Our managers and supervisors will train you to succeed in your role and offer continual coaching and mentoring so you can develop your professional and entrepreneurial skillset.

You will also become engaged with your community to expand the brand via in-store guest sales, parties, pop-up markets, and charity events.

As you gain experience as a Buff Care Specialist, you will be expected to lead by example and help new team members succeed.

Key Job Responsibilities-

Sales and Guest Service

- Cheerfully welcome guests and proactively determine/satisfy needs

- Become an expert in the products that are made at the store and be able to make recommendations based on key benefits/solutions for Guests

- Facilitate in-store bath bomb parties for kids and adults (groups of 4-20)

- Participate in off-site Community Pop-Up Markets and Charity events

Production and Inventory

- Assist in the efficient production and packaging of products to quality standards

- Help create customized local market themed products

- Follow a recipe without deviating, and follow all safety guidelines for working with lye, raw materials, and equipment

- Assist in monthly store inventory counting process

- Maintain attractive product presentations and store and restroom cleanliness

Team and Administrative

- Open/Close store

- Assist in the management of the day-to-day operations

-Work cohesively with the store team in an upbeat and fast-paced fun environment

- Process POS transactions, gift wrapping and returns

- Encourage guests to participate in our Buff Rewards Program

- Maintain an immaculately clean and organized workplace

Qualifications-

- Must be 18 years or older

- 1+ year prior supervisor experience necessary, prior retail experience is desirable

- High energy, creative, and engaging personality

- Effective communication skills

- Desire to learn new skills

- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively

- Ability to lift 50+ lbs. bags, and handle movement of 55-gallon drums of raw materials

- Ability to climb ladders

- Reliable transportation and willingness to attend shifts offsite, potentially outside, rain or shine in high traffic / mass public events.

- Bilingual skill is a plus

Salary and Benefits-
