Job Summary:
Supermicro is a Top Tier provider of advanced server, storage, and networking solutions for Data Center and Cloud Computing. They are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to drive the management software effort for Supermicro solutions, collaborating with various teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Responsibilities:
• Design and develop robust Azure Local solution extension software for Azure hybrid cloud platform.
• Work closely with Microsoft and cross-functional teams at Supermicro, including solution PMs, system PM/engineers, firmware, and driver engineers to integrate the Supermicro software in Azure hybrid cloud environment.
• Provide ongoing maintenance, support, bug fixes, and new feature implementation for the software.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 5+ years of experience in software development
• B.S or M.S Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Proven experience working with Microsoft Azure services, including Azure Resource Manager, Azure CLI, and Azure PowerShell.
• Familiar with on-premise or hybrid cloud solutions, preferably Azure Stack or Azure Local.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and web services.
• Proficient in below technologies:
• Front-end: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React and Angular.
• Back-end: Python, Node.js, Java, C#, or PHP
• Database: MySQL, MariaDB, MongoDB, or other relational and NoSQL databases
• Scripting Language: PowerShell, Azure CLI
• Familiar with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and tools, such as ARM templates or Terraform.
• Proficiency with version control systems, particularly GitLab.
