Job Summary:

We are looking for a Software Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of complex software and firmware systems. You will focus on developing automated test scripts and frameworks, executing comprehensive testing, and collaborating with development teams to validate functionality, performance, and stability in high-performance computing environments. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned): 

  • Design, develop and maintain scalable test automation frameworks and tools from scratch or by enhancing existing ones.
  • Write automated tests for UI (web/mobile), API, integration, performance and end-to-end scenarios.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc)
  • Collaborate with developers and the QA team to implement shift-level testing practices, improve code quality and achieve high test coverage.
  • Analyze test results, debug failures and provide detailed reports and insights to stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities to automate repetitive manual testing processes.
  • Mentor junior engineers on automation best practices and tools.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in test automation development.
  • Strong proficiency in at least one programming langauge: Python, Java, Shell.
  • Sollid experience with automation tools and frameworks:
    • Web: Selenium, Playwright
    • Mobile: Appium
    • API: Postman, Requests
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and version control (Git).
  • Good understanding of software testing principles, SDLC and Agile/ Scrum methodologies.
  • Strong knowlege of software design patterns, clean code principles and maintainable code practices.

Salary Range

$101,000 - $160,000

The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
