Auxiliary Services Corporation of SUNY Cortland (ASC) has been serving the SUNY Cortland campus since 1952. ASC has 175 full-time employees and 425 part-time student employees and approximately $21 million dollars in revenue.
SUNY Cortland is one of 64 campuses in the State University of New York system. The student enrollment at Cortland is 7,200 students with 60 undergraduate and graduate majors.
Cortland, NY is located in upstate New York's Finger Lakes Region about 30 minutes from Syracuse and Cornell Universities. The area has natural beauty in its lakes and mountains, low crime, excellent public schools, and very reasonable housing costs.

Job Description
This position is responsible for all of operational concerns of the the College Bookstore at SUNY Cortland. Duties include staffing, internal controls and merchandising. This position purchases all clothing, soft goods, gifts, electronics and any other non-textbook merchandise. The duties also includes the management of all aspects of our automated, convenience store. A strong understanding of financials in retail sales that assist in meeting the goals set for inventory and revenue is a requirement. Ability to learn quickly several pieces of retail software including an online catalog is needed to be successful in this position. Knowledge of purchasing trends of the millennium generation is plus.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business or a related field and three years of retail management experience or two year degree in business or related field and six years of retail experience three years must have been supervisory experience.
