Job description

We are seeking a React Software Developer for one of our PRIME CONTRACTS that offers exciting opportunities to support essential services and mission critical activities across the enterprise and the opportunity to Telework one day a week! Our mission supports the Government Corporate Management Services (CMS) by providing full life cycle support services through the sustainment, modernization, and transformation of the enterprise corporate applications. As soon as an employee enters a customer facility, they touch one of these applications which are critical to the daily functions of thousands of users across acquisition, business, finance, HR, training, recruitment, program management, security, logistics and more.   • Serve as the primary React Software Developer responsible for maintaining and enhancing a production collaboration and business process application that supports information exchange between DoD and Industry Partners.
  • Develop, test, and implement application enhancements, bug fixes, and usability improvements while ensuring the stability, reliability, and performance of the production environment. • Support ongoing operations and maintenance activities, including troubleshooting application issues, analyzing root causes, and implementing corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with government stakeholders to understand operational needs, prioritize enhancement requests, refine requirements, and provide technical recommendations for future improvements.
  • Translate user feedback and evolving business requirements into scalable, maintainable front-end solutions that improve functionality and user experience.
  • Maintain and enhance React-based user interfaces supporting registration, tracking, workflow management, reporting, and other mission-critical business processes.
  • Work closely with system engineers, developers, testers, and product stakeholders to evaluate change requests, support releases, and ensure successful deployment of enhancements.
  • Integrate front-end components with backend services and APIs, ensuring secure, reliable, and efficient data exchange across systems.
  • Apply modern front-end development practices using React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and component-based design patterns to maintain a high-quality user experience.
  • Support Agile planning activities, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, estimation, and release preparation for operational enhancements and defect remediation.
  • Operate independently in a fast-paced environment, managing priorities and balancing production support activities with enhancement development efforts.
  • Telework up to one day per week is offered for this effort.

Required Qualifications
  • TS/SCI with Polygraph
  • A bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and six (6) years of experience in software development/engineering. Ten (10) years of experience in software development/engineering may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
  • Experience with one of the following JavaScript or CSS frameworks: React, Bootstrap, with the willingness and ability to pivot to one of the others.
  • Working understanding of SQL and/or NoSQL databases
  • Ability to work during core hours of 10AM-2PM Monday - Friday. Exceptions will be considered on a case- by-case basis.

The estimated salary range for this position is between $150,000-$200,000 (annualized USD). This range reflects the typical pay for the role and is one part of the company's comprehensive compensation package.
