Lead Software Engineer - React / Fullstack (FX Engineering)
Great opportunity for a Lead Software Engineer (React / Fullstack) to join our FX Engineering team. This group is responsible for building and evolving high-performance FX trading platforms and related services that operate at scale.
We are looking for a hands-on developer who combines deep engineering expertise with strong architectural thinking, mentorship, and a passion for driving high-quality delivery in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Hands on developer, partnering closely with architects, product, and global engineering teams to design and deliver complex, scalable trading solutions.
  • Lead the design and development of cloud-native applications, driving best practices across Azure/AWS environments.
  • Guide and mentor engineers, fostering a high-performing, collaborative, and inclusive team culture.
  • Drive engineering standards, including code quality, testing strategies, CI/CD, and DevOps best practices.
  • Partner with product and business stakeholders to translate requirements into robust technical solutions.
  • Lead efforts to improve system reliability, observability, and availability, including proactive monitoring and incident resolution strategies.
  • Identify and deliver improvements across areas such as performance optimization, cost efficiency, security, and developer experience.

Required Skills

Compensation/Benefits Information:
LSEG is committed to offering competitive Compensation and Benefits. The anticipated base salary for this position is $147,500 - $245,900.
Please be aware base salary ranges may vary by geographic location, city and state. In addition to our offered base salary, this role is eligible for our Annual Incentive Plan (AIP/"bonus plan"). Target AIP rates will be commensurate with role level and posted career stage. Individual salary will be reflective of job related knowledge, skills and equivalent experience. LSEG roles (excluding internships and part-time roles of less than 20 hours per week) are typically eligible for inclusion in our LSEG Benefits program, which includes offerings of: Annual Wellness Allowance, Paid time-off, Medical, Dental, Vision, Flex Spending & Health Savings Options, Prescription Drug plan, 401(K) Savings Plan and Company match.
