Role Overview

Fashion Nova is building a world-class engineering team to power our next phase of growth. We're investing heavily in scalable, high-impact technology platforms-and we're looking for a Mobile Software Engineer with strong React Native experience to help bring them to life.

In this role, you'll design and build high-performance mobile applications for iOS and Android, collaborating closely with product, design, and platform teams. You'll play a key role in shaping our mobile architecture, delivering polished user experiences, and contributing to a fast-moving, highly collaborative environment.

What You'll Do
  • Build pixel-perfect, buttery-smooth UIs across iOS and Android
  • Architect and develop reusable, scalable UI components
  • Optimize application performance, reliability, and maintainability
  • Leverage native APIs for deep platform integrations
  • Debug and resolve performance bottlenecks and production issues
  • Write clean, well-documented code and maintain automated test coverage
  • Partner with product and design to deliver innovative mobile experiences
  • Engage with the open-source community to help improve mission-critical tooling (React Native moves fast!)
What You Bring
  • 3+ years of experience with React and/or React Native
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript / TypeScript (ES6+)
  • Experience building testable, maintainable codebases and APIs
  • Solid understanding of third-party dependencies and conflict resolution
  • Familiarity with native build tools (Xcode, CocoaPods)
  • Experience with automated testing (Jest, Appium, Playwright)
  • Knowledge of mobile performance, memory management, and multithreading
Nice to Have
  • Experience with Shopify APIs, GraphQL, Firebase
  • Exposure to Swift and/or Kotlin
  • App Store and Google Play publishing experience
  • CI/CD pipelines, Sauce Labs, or mobile automation infrastructure
