Job description

) Springtree Health & Rehabilitation Center in Roanoke, Virginia is seeking a caring, warm-hearted Physical Therapist who is currently licensed in Virginia or is a graduate from an approved Physical Therapist program and is actively working toward obtaining licensure. Be a part of our experienced team of rehabilitation professionals who are committed to helping each patient recover the strengths, skills, independence, and confidence to return home to family and friends, and an active life. Our in-house team of compassionate physical, occupational, and speech therapists provides rehab services in a state-of-the-art rehab gym. Whether you are a seasoned professional or at the beginning of your career, utilize your talents as a Physical Therapist to improve the lives of others.
The Physical Therapist evaluates residents, develops effective treatment plans, and obtains approval for service from the referring physician. Treats residents according to the physician's treatment plan. Participates in discharge planning. Records evaluation, treatment, and charges. Supervises Physical Therapist Assistants and Aides. Screens residents for potential benefit from PT intervention.
Requirements:
• Virginia Physical Therapy License
• Demonstrates excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Demonstrates effective problem-solving skills.
