Job description

Summer Academy Position

Secondary Summer Academy is seeking educators to work in June with students seeking new credit, enrichment opportunities, and credit recovery. Summer Academy will run 6/2/26-6/26/26. All Summer Academy courses will be located at the high school unless there is not an in-person component to a virtual course. Schedule and time commitment vary by course. Hours include a set number of planning and instructional time. Online courses can be taught by anyone licensed 7-12; enrichment course instructors are not required to have a teaching license. Pay is based on the current UAEA contract and is set at $43.47/hour. 

Summer Enrichment Positions

Location: Upper Arlington High School

Summer Academy will run 6/2/26-6/26/26.

  1. Middle School Writing Bootcamp - This instructor should work with middle school students on the building blocks of the writing process. We are looking for someone interested in creating a fun course and environment to captivate young writers. Previously, this course was one week long, a few hours a day, but the schedule was determined by the instructor. This course will run 6/15/26-6/18/26 10am-12pm.
