Job description

Math Program Writer-Stipend upon completion of tasks ($740)

Position start ASAP to July 10th

Duties:

  • Create individualized and/or small groups scope of learning based on students strengths and needs for the entirety of the program
  • Utilize existing curriculum programs including, but not limited to: Eureka Squared, Zearn, and IXL.
  • Identify any additional resources needed, and liaison with the Summer Program Coordinator and EMS Administrative staff to obtain.
  • Provide training to summer teachers on overall scope and expectations of the math program.
  • Ensure alignment with Arc or Learning.ย 
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Education, Mathematics, or related field preferred
  • Experience developing math curriculum or intervention programs
  • Knowledge of Eureka Squared, Zearn, IXL, or similar platforms preferred
  • Ability to create differentiated learning plans for individual and small groups
  • Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Experience training or supporting instructional staff preferred
  • Ability to align curriculum with academic standards and program goals
  • Must be able to complete tasks by July 10th
