Job summary:
You are expected to adhere to the company’s mission, vision and value statements. Be knowledgeable of the company’s management systems, policies and initiatives for Hospitality, Environmental, and Health and Safety. You have specific responsibilities within these areas and are expected to understand them. Receives, washes, dries, irons or otherwise prepares for delivery all dirty linen, towels, rugs and bedspreads sent to Jackson Lake Lodge laundry, according to established procedures. Laundry workers fill specific job positions on a rotating basis, such as Dryer Operator, Shaker Sorter, Ironer, Feeder and Catcher, load, unload dryers, etc.

Job Specifications:

  • Starting Wage: $17.75/hr - $22.32/hr 

  • Employment Type: Summer Seasonal 2026  

  • Shift Type: Full Time hours available 

  • Minimum Age: At least 18 years of age  

  • Housing Availability: Yes  

Job resposibilities:

  • Places wet towels, rugs, bedspreads in dryer, then sorts and folds when dry.
  • Separates clean linen and prepare material for the flatwork ironer.
  • Attends the flatwork ironer and feeds prepared work in, or catches, folds, and stacks work on the receiving side.
  • Presses uniforms and other items as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requriments:

  • Prior laundry experience desirable
  • Good judgment, manual dexterity.

  • Specific responsibilities and duties:

Hospitality:

  • You must be committed to superior guest service and quality standards. As a team member of your department you play a key role ensuring the team’s success and achievement of meeting and exceeding our guests’ expectations. Our goal is to receive a minimum of 88% on our guest comment scores.

Environmental:

  • The Grand Teton Lodge Company is entrusted with protecting the environment of Grand Teton National Park. As part of this mission you are responsible for carrying out our core environmental values: promote renewable energy, reduction of waste, protection of wildlife habitat, and environmental education. You should strive to preserve, protect and inspire your team members and our guests to join in this effort.

  • You are responsible for working in a safe and healthy manner. You must be knowledgeable of the company’s work safe policies and procedures.

NPS/Community Relations:

  • You must be committed to working in partnership with the National Park Service and community organizations to enhance our guests’ experiences. Our goal is to receive only fours and fives on the five point rating scale used by NPS.
