  • Facility: Doctors Medical Center - a Tenet Health system hospital with 15 OR rooms, 3 Da Vinci robots, and Level 3 NICU

What We Offer
  • Compensation: $378,759 - $575,516 annually, based on qualifications, experience, and productivity
  • Malpractice insurance provided
  • Health, dental, and life insurance
  • 401(k) with employer matching
  • Deferred compensation program
  • Relocation assistance

  • California medical license, or eligibility to obtain licensure in California

Why Modesto
Situated halfway between San Francisco and Yosemite National Park, Modesto offers a rare combination of affordability, accessibility, and genuine community character that's hard to find in California. The region's agricultural heritage fuels a vibrant food scene - from farm-fresh markets and local orchards to a diverse restaurant culture boasting over 40 food trucks and globally influenced dining. Culturally, Modesto punches well above its weight, earning the #1 ranking for "America's Hidden Gems Live Music Scene" and hosting beloved annual events like Graffiti Summer - a nod to hometown legend George Lucas - along with international mural festivals and holiday celebrations that bring the downtown alive year-round. With the Sierra Nevada foothills as your backyard and a cost of living far below coastal California, Modesto is an ideal home base for physicians who want a rich, balanced life without compromise.
About the Team
Doctors Medical Center (DMC), part of the Central Valley Doctors Health System, is the largest full-care hospital between Stockton and Fresno, and from the Sierras to the San Francisco Bay Area, with a 394-bed general acute care and a 67-bed inpatient psychiatric capacity. DMC is known for providing comprehensive inpatient, outpatient and emergency care. Doctors Medical Center offers a wide range of services including cardiology, neurosurgery, orthopedics, emergency and trauma services, minimally-invasive and robotic surgery, women and childrens services, medical/surgical, behavioral health, oncology and critical/intensive care.
