Job description

We are seeking an IT Financial Analyst to work in a fast-growing, stimulating, and fast-paced environment, as well as to grow within a dynamic team and a workplace that promotes innovative ideas. You will play an influential role in the financial decisions of BRP's I&T sector.

YOUR FIRST-YEAR DELIVERABLES:

  • Active support will be provided to IT service managers for their sector-specific and project-based financial monitoring.

  • Lead key analyses in the evolution of the Finance function in support of the I&T department.

  • Support the Finance team in the preparation of monthly reports and financial forecasts for management.


YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

  • Monthly financial monitoring of cost centres and project cost analyses (OPEX/CAPEX) will be ensured.

  • Become the go-to person for the financial aspect related to resource costs and project recharges.

  • Perform month-end activities (commitments, entries) and forecasting/budgeting.

  • Update resource budgets/forecasts and perform related analyses.

  • Consolidate costs of recurring projects that impact operations.

  • Support I&T project, program, and business sector managers in various financial analyses.

  • Support teams in the analysis of their cost centre expenditures.

  • Participate in continuous improvement projects, task automation, and the expanding use of Power BI within the function.

  • Participate in the preparation and updating of management reports for the various supported teams.

  • Perform certain internal controls (SOX) related to project tracking.

YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (Accounting or Finance).

  • Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint).

  • A minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience related to the position.

  • The ability to process, consolidate and explain data and financial information for our international entities.

  • Knowledge of PowerBI (an asset).

  • Knowledge of SAP would be an asset.

  • Excellent prioritization skills and the ability to work in a team.

  • Attention to detail and thoroughness.

  • Autonomy and curiosity.

  • Pursuit of continuous improvement in task execution.
