Job Summary

St. Raphael the Archangel Catholic School is seeking a caring, energetic, and responsible Summer Camp Aide to support students in our summer camp program. The Summer Camp Aide helps create a safe, engaging, and faithfilled environment where students can grow socially, emotionally, and spiritually while enjoying structured summer activities.

Job Responsibilities
  • Supervise and actively engage with students during summer camp hours
  • Assist with daily activities including games, crafts, outdoor play, and organized events
  • Support snack and lunch times while ensuring student safety and appropriate behavior
  • Monitor students at all times to ensure a safe and secure environment
  • Uphold and model Catholic values in interactions with students, staff, and families
  • Assist camp leaders and coordinators with activity setup and cleanup
  • Help maintain clean, organized, and welcoming camp spaces
  • Communicate effectively with camp staff regarding student needs or concerns
  • Follow all school policies, procedures, and safety protocols, including emergency procedures
Job Requirements Required:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work well with children in a group setting
  • Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Warm, patient, and positive interactions with students
  • Commitment to supporting the mission and values of Catholic education
Preferred:
  • Experience working with children in a school, camp, or childcare setting
  • CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
  • Practicing Catholic preferred, but not required
