About the Position

Every great product starts as an idea. At AccuLynx, a Product Manager's job is to shape that idea into a valuable, scalable, and market-ready product experience.

We're seeking a Product Manager to lead our Payments and Subscription Management initiatives, helping define how contractors are paid, how customers manage their billing, how we bill our products, and how we expand our embedded financial products across the AccuLynx ecosystem.

You'll own the roadmap for AccuPay, recurring billing, payment integrations, surcharges, and mobile payment experiences, working closely with engineering, design, finance, compliance, and external partners. Your goal will be to develop products that simplify complex financial workflows and deliver measurable value to our customers and AccuLynx.

Successful Product Managers at AccuLynx combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution. They balance user empathy, technical fluency, and business acumen to define what we build, why we make it, and how we deliver it successfully.

In this role, you will:

  • Define and own the product strategy and roadmap for Payments and Subscription Management, aligning priorities with company goals and customer needs.
  • Discover customer and market insights through data analysis, feedback sessions, and collaboration with Customer Success and Sales.
  • Develop clear product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria that guide design and engineering teams throughout the development process.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, design, operations, and compliance to ensure product requirements are well understood and executed.
  • Partner with third-party payment processors, gateways, and financial institutions to extend and enhance AccuLynx's embedded payment capabilities.
  • Manage ongoing improvements to transaction workflows, subscription logic, reconciliation processes, and payment success rates.
  • Define success metrics and measure performance, using insights to drive iteration and continuous improvement.
  • Communicate product vision, progress, and outcomes to stakeholders and leadership across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Lead discovery, definition, and delivery of features that expand our payment and billing ecosystem.
  • Prioritize work across multiple initiatives-balancing short-term deliverables with long-term strategic goals.
  • Translate complex financial and technical concepts into simple, customer-centered experiences.
  • Collaborate with marketing and finance to develop go-to-market strategies for new payment and billing capabilities.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations (e.g., PCI, SOC 2).
  • Serve as the subject-matter expert for payments, billing, and revenue management within AccuLynx.
  • Represent the customer perspective in all decision-making, ensuring the products we deliver solve real problems with measurable value.

Skills & Qualifications

  • 4+ years of product management experience, preferably in SaaS, fintech, or payments-related products.
  • Strong understanding of payment processing, subscription billing, and financial systems.
  • Proven experience defining product strategy and leading cross-functional agile teams through development and launch.
  • Excellent communication skills-able to synthesize business needs, customer insights, and technical details into a straightforward narrative.
  • An analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make evidence-based product decisions.
  • Comfortable balancing strategic thinking with hands-on product execution.
  • Passionate about building intuitive, reliable, and trustworthy financial products.

Bonuses

  • Experience working directly with payment processors, gateways, or fintech APIs.
  • Background in SaaS subscription management or billing platforms (e.g., Stripe, Recurly, Zuora).
  • PMP or Scrum Product Owner certification.
  • Former experience as a software engineer, product designer, or fintech operator.
