What is subrogation?

A subrogation job involves recovering money from a third party who is responsible for causing financial loss, typically in insurance claims. They work closely with adjusters, attorneys, and policyholders to ensure proper compensation. This role requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and knowledge of insurance laws and policies.

What does someone in subrogation do?

In a Subrogation role, your daily responsibilities often include reviewing insurance claims to identify opportunities for recovery, investigating facts to determine liability, and working closely with insured parties, third parties, and legal representatives. Additionally, you'll collaborate with other claims adjusters, legal teams, and sometimes attend court hearings or arbitration as needed.
