They are not members of the stock exchange themselves but work under an authorized stockbroker to provide trading facilities, investment advice, and customer support. Sub Brokers play a crucial role in expanding the reach of brokerage firms by helping investors access stock market services in various regions. Their responsibilities include client acquisition, KYC compliance, and facilitating smooth execution of trades. To operate, Sub Brokers must be registered with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) and adhere to regulatory norms.
