Our Purpose is to enrich people’s lives and make the world a better place.

Our Mission is to provide quality home furnishings, at excellent values, in an exciting and fun environment.

Our Values: Mutual Trust & Respect | Continuous Improvement | Entrepreneurial Spirit | Customer Focus | Teamwork | Giving Back

What this Role is...

As Content Studio Operations Manager, you drive operational excellence across our content production ecosystem—spanning traditional studio production and AI-enabled content generation. Content Studio Operations Manager will design, build, and optimize workflows and processes (including routing decisions between production lanes) that enable exceptional work delivery on a scale. You oversee all content logistics, champion cross-functional collaboration, and drive continuous improvement against key KPIs. Success requires developing a high-performing team, building an Agile-leader mentality, and forging vital partnerships with the Content Studio Art Director and AI Enablement lead. Your contributions ensure Creative department success at CITY HOME.

Position Title: Content Studio Operations Manager Reports To: Managing Director of Digital Commerce

Location: On-site/ Tamarac Corporate office

Department/Sub-Department: Creative / Core Creative

Salary: Starting at $70,000 (DOE)

What You'll Do...

As a Content Studio Operations Manager, your primary responsibilities will be to:

  • Lead Content Operations & Routing – Manage resource allocation, scheduling, project intake, and pipeline oversight across all production methods, including photography, video, and AI-generated content. Choose the best production path based on speed, cost, quality, and scale. Use Agile and project management practices—such as sprint-based intake, backlog grooming, and kanban-style tracking—to keep content moving efficiently. Identify and resolve bottlenecks to keep projects on schedule.
  • Optimize Workflows & KPIs – Streamline and monitor workflows across the content supply chain to drive measurable improvements in Cost-Per-Asset, Time-to-Publish, AI Adoption Rate, Quality, and Teamwork. Continuously identify opportunities to simplify processes, remove bottlenecks, and scale production efficiently.
  • Foster Cross-Functional Alignment  – Serve as the primary operational link between Content Operations and internal partners (eCommerce, Merchandising, Marketing), ensuring priorities, timelines, and resources are aligned across teams.
  • Manage and Develop the Team  – Direct daily operations, balance workloads, and guide professional growth (including AI tool training). Run Agile ceremonies—stand-ups, sprints, retros—to drive accountability and continuous improvement. Coach team members individually. Partner with the Art Director and AI Enablement lead to align staffing, priorities, and creative mentorship.
  • Adheres to all assigned Standard Work and Role and Responsibilities for your role.

* Additional duties may be assigned as needed, beyond those listed in the responsibilities. Changing business conditions may trigger changes to job responsibilities (i.e., COVID-19).

What We're Looking For...

    • Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration
    • Attention to detail in complex operations
    • Production and technology literacy
    • Agile project management and facilitation

 What''s Required...

  • Education & Work Experience:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business Administration, or related field, can be substituted with equivalent relevant work experience.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics management, preferably in photography, video, AI-generated, or hybrid workflows.
    • Demonstrated project-management/Agile leadership experience (e.g. running sprints, backlogs, or cross-functional delivery cycles) as part of that studio leadership background.
  • Work Environment & Schedule:
    • Monday through Friday
    • Occasional nights, weekends, and holidays based on deadlines and business needs.
    • Up to 5% to new showroom openings and/or off-site events

    • Experience with Agile project management tools (e.g. Jira, Asana, Monday.com)
  • Certifications / Licenses
    • PMP, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or equivalent Agile/PM certification preferred
