Job description

THE ROLE: Studio Operations Associate--Part-time/On-call

 

We're looking for...

The responsibility of the Studio Operations Associate is to manage sample inventory through the pre-production, production, and post-production process. The Studio Operations Associate will support other studio teams as needed to ensure styles are prepared for production.  This position reports directly to the Lead Studio Operations associate and is based ONSITE in Shepherdsville, Kentucky studio location.

What You'll Do:

Essential Duties:

  • Manage sample inventory through the pre-production, production, and post-production process by following all standard operating procedures.  
  • Receive and tag styles for production, capture sample PO errors, scan and stage samples in appropriate locations, and communicate effectively with all teams to ensure samples are ready for production.  
  • Communicate on the status of deliveries, sign for deliveries, and sort packages to standard.
  • Assist the scheduling team by pulling, scanning and staging samples for production in appropriate studio locations. 
  • Responsible for repackaging samples to standard after production complete (re-attaching tags, folding, and placing in polybags).
  • Support sample delivery process by using Fed Ex portal to create and email shipping labels for vendors and internal teams.
  • Prepare shipments for the Boston Studio production process.
  • Assist styling teams with steaming and prepping styles for production as needed. 
  • Adheres to safety policies and calls out unsafe processes or behaviors.
  • Trains in new processes as needed to maximize workflow.
  • Other duties as assigned.

About You:

  • Must be able to stand for up to approximately 8-10 hours
  • Must be able to lift parcels up to 25lbs 
  • High School Diploma or G.E.D Certificate
  • Ability to work collaboratively with team members 
  • Attention to detail and ability to multi-task 
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience with Google Sheets is a plus
  • Warehouse and/or sample management experience is a plus
