Job Summary:
Von Maur is a family-owned company known for its legendary customer service, and they are seeking a .NET Software Engineer to develop, test, and implement web software solutions. The role involves managing the full software development life cycle, maintaining existing programs, and providing user support and training.
Responsibilities:
• Create the full Software Development Life Cycle – meet with users, obtain requirements, design systems, code, source control, create and execute test plans, deployment, and quality assurance
• Work with tools and technologies including Selenium, jQuery, Windows Services, REST API design, Git/TFS (Azure DevOps), JIRA, and Visual Studio
• Maintain all existing computer programs. Locate errors in programs, redesign and recode programs accordingly, and test revised programs
• Document all new and revised applications adequately
• Provide necessary hardware and software support for end users when possible
• Train new users, and answer questions or solve problems as needed
Qualifications:
Required:
• Develop, test and implement web software solutions and other company applications using one or more of the following technologies: C#, VB.NET, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, ASP.NET, SQL, Bootstrap, IIS, SQL Server, KendoUI, and .NET Framework.
• Create the full Software Development Life Cycle – meet with users, obtain requirements, design systems, code, source control, create and execute test plans, deployment, and quality assurance.
• Work with tools and technologies including Selenium, jQuery, Windows Services, REST API design, Git/TFS (Azure DevOps), JIRA, and Visual Studio.
• Maintain all existing computer programs. Locate errors in programs, redesign and recode programs accordingly, and test revised programs.
• Document all new and revised applications adequately.
