Job description
Adjunct Faculty - Structural Design Laboratory
The Department of Civil Engineering at Saint Louis University (SLU) seeks a dynamic, collegial, collaborative, and creative adjunct faculty member to teach the undergraduate course in Structural Design Laboratory. Applicants should have technical expertise and be motivated to deliver engaging, hands-on learning experiences to engineering students in a team-oriented, student-focused environment. Adjunct taught classes are in person. A minimum of a Master's degree in civil engineering or a related field is required. Teaching experience or other work experience in structural engineering or a related field is preferred. Applications should include a CV, as well as two references with corresponding emails and phone numbers.
Course topics: Companion laboratory to the Introduction to Structural Design course. Focus is on the application of design codes and provisions through project-based learning activities.
