The Opportunity

Ulteig is seeking a talented and motivated Structural Bridge Engineer Intern to join our team for the upcoming summer. This internship offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience supporting bridge design and inspection projects while working alongside experienced engineers in a collaborative environment.

What You'll Do

  • Support structural engineers in the analysis and design of bridge structures and related infrastructure
  • Assist with preparing engineering calculations, drawings, and technical documentation
  • Compile and organize project data to support design and inspection activities
  • Contribute to bridge inspections and assist in drafting inspection reports
  • Utilize engineering software and tools to support project deliverables
  • Collaborate with team members to solve engineering challenges and meet project deadlines

What We Expect from You

  • Minimum of 2 years completed towards a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
  • Previous internship experience preferred
  • Proven experience in Microsoft Software Applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, Access), MicroStation preferred, additional software knowledge depending on specialization
  • Willingness and ability to work full-time during Summer 2026
  • Must have authorization to work permanently in the U.S

Target Base Compensation for this role is $26/hr.
