Description:

Tree House Youth Homes is dedicated to providing safe, nurturing, and therapeutic

environments for youth in our Short-Term Residential Therapeutic Program (STRTP). We are

seeking a qualified and motivated Facility Manager to support daily operations and ensure high-

quality care for the youth we serve.


Job Summary:


The Facility Manager oversees the day-to-day operations of the facility in the absence of the

Administrator. This role is responsible for program coordination, staff supervision, youth

support, and maintaining compliance with STRTP regulations and agency policies.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Support the Administrator in daily facility operations
  • Supervise and guide Direct Care Staff to ensure appropriate care and supervision of youth
  • Provide direct supervision to youth as needed
  • Oversee and manage the daily activity schedule
  • Apply the “Reasonable and Prudent Parenting Standard” in decision-making regarding youth activities
  • Ensure compliance with all agency policies, procedures, and STRTP regulations
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment
  • Address and document grievances, incidents, and concerns appropriately
  • Assist with transportation needs as required
  • Provide training and ongoing support to staff in collaboration with the Administrator
  • Report updates and recommend continuous quality improvements
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:


  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) required


One of the following:

  • Two (2) years of full-time experience working with youth, OR
  • Equivalent education/experience as approved by CDSS, OR
  • Two (2) years of experience working in an STRTP setting
  • Must pass CCL, DOJ, and FBI fingerprint background clearances
  • Valid California Driver’s License and insurable under agency policy
  • DMV driving report
  • Physical Examination
  • TB
  • Drug screen


Preferred Skills:

  • Strong leadership and team supervision experience
  • Knowledge of STRTP regulations and trauma-informed care
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions


Schedule:

  • We are hiring Full-time; including weekends, and on-call responsibilities
  • May include: morning shift, swing shift and overnight shift

Compensation:

$25
