Handa Developers Group is seeking an experienced and visionary Sr. Construction Manager to oversee our residential real estate development and construction projects. In this leadership role, you’ll manage large-scale residential developments from concept to completion, ensuring exceptional quality, adherence to timelines, and budgetary control. You will be working directly with the subs in the field.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage all phases of residential construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
  • Lead a team of supervisors, and subcontractors, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements, including permitting and inspections.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and stakeholders to refine designs and resolve issues.
  • Monitor project performance, implement improvements, and manage risks proactively.
  • Oversee vendor and subcontractor selection, contract negotiation, and performance.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to construction teams to ensure professional growth and development.
  • Leverage technology and tools to streamline construction processes and reporting.
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with leadership, stakeholders, and clients.


Qualifications

  • Active CSLB Class B License highly preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in residential real estate development and construction.
  • Proven leadership skills with experience managing multiple large-scale projects simultaneously.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, scheduling, budgeting, and quality control.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical documents.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
  • Proficiency with construction management software and technology tools.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to team collaboration.
