Job description

Ag Pro Construction, Inc. is a fast-growing, field-focused construction company rooted in the agricultural sector. We specialize in commercial-scale projects supporting the dairy, hops, and broader ag-industrial industries. From parlor expansions to free-stall barns and ag-processing facilities, we bring decades of hands-on experience and craftsmanship to every job site.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a seasoned and highly motivated Construction Project Manager to lead our ag-sector construction projects from pre-construction to closeout. This role is not a desk job. Success here means being present-on-site, alongside our field crews, and actively engaged in the day-to-day progress of construction. You should be just as comfortable walking a jobsite as you are reviewing budgets or pulling up project data from your phone or tablet. If you're passionate about leading teams in the field, leveraging technology to streamline results, and turning plans into reality, we want to talk to you.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Own all phases of project delivery: pre-construction planning, scheduling, execution, and closeout.
  • Work directly with superintendents, foremen, and field crews to ensure real-time alignment and performance.
  • Lead jobsite coordination, walkthroughs, material deliveries, and subcontractor interface.
  • Develop and manage budgets, critical path schedules, and resource forecasts.
  • Use digital tools and mobile technology to track field progress, submit updates, manage schedules, and communicate with stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with design professionals, engineers, inspectors, and vendors to maintain momentum and solve problems fast.
  • Maintain daily communication with company leadership and clients on project status-leveraging video calls, shared dashboards, and cloud-based systems when needed.
  • Track project metrics and proactively mitigate risk, delays, and cost overruns.
  • Ensure quality control and enforce safety standards per industry best practices and company policy.
  • Build strong, trust-based relationships with customers, suppliers, and crew members.

What Sets You Apart:
  • 5+ years of project management experience in commercial or ag-related construction.
  • Strong understanding of concrete, structural steel, pre-engineered buildings, mechanical systems, and sitework-especially in ag settings.
  • Proficient with project management platforms (Buildertrend, Procore, or equivalent), digital takeoff tools, and mobile jobsite reporting apps.
  • Tech-savvy mindset: able to learn new systems quickly, troubleshoot field tech issues, and drive team adoption of digital workflows.
  • Skilled in job costing, estimating, scheduling, and field productivity tracking.
  • Natural leadership with the ability to motivate crews, manage subs, and navigate challenges on the fly.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills, including digital report writing and collaborative online updates.
  • PMP certification or construction management degree is a plus but not required.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) - Preferred but not required.
